Paul Wurth has developed the PRIMUS® Process which provides an innovative solution for treating residues generated along the non-ferrous refining flowsheet.
Based on the combination of a multiple-hearth furnace and an electrical furnace, the PRIMUS® process gives the possibility to extract the valuable parts of non-ferrous residues and simultaneously to get a small volume of inert residual material easy to be used in the concrete or road filling industry.
