METRO®
The handling itself is based on a specific concept named METRO® where all the key functions of hooking, fine positioning, guiding, aligning,… are embarked on guided carriers moving from cells to machines and vice-versa.
These functions as well as the automatic procedures are specifically designed by Paul Wurth experts on the basis of the operation objectives and taking into consideration the local constraints.
This system is the link which makes all the other elements of the design perfectly consistent.
