Luxembourg, 07 April 2008. Paul Wurth S.A., its subsidiary Geprolux S.A. as well as its affiliated company TMT s.à r.l. (joint company of Dango & Dienenthal GmbH and Paul Wurth S.A.) have been certified for their safety management system according to the VCA-SCC** Safety Checklist Contractors standard (Version 2004) since the year 2005.
Such certification remains valid for a period of three years provided that intermediary yearly audits are complying with the requirements of the certification body.
On 12-13 March 2008, AIB – Vinçotte International S.A. realized this year’s audit and the auditor’s conclusions were very positive. Such results are very encouraging for all Paul Wurth staff who is taking care of Safety as n° 1 priority in all activities with the impulse and the full and permanent support of the General Management of the Group.
The next step will be in one year with a more extensive review of the Paul Wurth safety management system in the frame of the renewal of the VCA-SCC** Certification.
