Luxembourg, 18 February 2008. To meet the increasing demands of our UK and worldwide customers, Paul Wurth has decided to expand its operations with the formation of a new entity, denominated PAUL WURTH UK LIMITED and planned to operate out of North-East England.
The newly established company endeavours to develop an operation of approximately 80 employees within a time horizon of approximately 18 months. The business plan ambitions to set-up a true capability to manage major turn-key projects (including engineering, project management, site technical assistance and commissioning of industrial plants, plant components and heavy industrial machines), to take specific responsibilities for certain geographically delimited markets and to develop an own competence center for a part of Paul Wurth’s growing technology portfolio.
PAUL WURTH UK LIMITED shall be fully integrated into the Paul Wurth network of entities and operate in accordance with the established business principles and practices.
Robert GOFFIN, Senior Marketing Manager within PWLU Sales & Project Management, has been entrusted with the set-up and organisation of this new business entity.
