Luxembourg, 25 April 2008. From 15 till 18 April, the Paul Wurth Group has been present at the 2008 edition of Expomin, the main fair dedicated to mining and metallurgy in South America. More specifically focusing on the non-ferrous industry, this worldwide recognised event gave Paul Wurth the opportunity to present, through its Chilean entity, specific applications of its engineering services and equipment.
Numerous projects have already been conducted by Paul Wurth applying Granulation, Pneumatic Transport, Injection and Tapping (TMT*) processes to copper, zinc, nickel, platinum and other NF operations. Hydro- and electro-metallurgies are also part of Paul Wurth expertise and product line, among which copper electrorefining and zinc electrowinning.
Hundreds of decision makers, mainly coming from South and North Americas as well as Asia, have visited Expomin allowing Paul Wurth to maintain or create contacts often related to major investment projects.
