Created in 1958, the German engineering company Turbofilter, located in Essen, provides processoriented solutions for industrial dust collection, reaching from standard filters to complex turnkey plants for environmental protection. Turbofilter offers its broad spectrum of expert system components to the iron & steel and nonferrous industry, but also to other industry sectors, such as cement, lime and gypsum industries, flue gas purification after combustion processes, chemical and food industries or coking plants.
With a staff of 20 people, proven ecologically labelled technologies and a yearly turnover of 7 to 10 million euros, Turbofilter GmbH will develop synergies with Paul Wurth Umwelttechnik and further strengthen the Group's environmental activities. On the other hand, the strong international presence of Paul Wurth will open up new market potential to Turbofilter.
