Paul Wurth is active worldwide as general contractor of industrial plants and projects. In the area of iron and steelmaking, where more than 600 industrial developments have been patented over the last 30 years, our activities include the engineering, project management, manufacturing, site supervision and commissioning of industrial plants, plant components and heavy industrial machines.

On a local level, our "Civil Construction/Engineering & Project Management" division coordinates large scale civil construction projects for the public and private sector.

The ideal candidate should correspond to the following profile:

  • Holder of a university degree in one of the above-mentioned specialisations; ideally followed by a postgraduate qualification;
  • Showing proof of a first professional experience within one or more of the previously mentioned domains is an asset;
  • Possessing a good sense of initiative and responsibility as well as the will to fully invest oneself in the assigned projects;
  • Eagerness to continually improve and evolve in a motivating work environment;
  • Ability to work in a professional and independent manner while integrating in a dynamic multinational team;
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills and pronounced negotiation and organisational skills;
  • Readiness to cultivate international contacts through frequent business travel, particularly within industrialised countries overseas;
  • Open-minded view that will allow you to respond creatively to our customers needs
  • Possessing strong analytical and synthetic strengths;
  • Fluency in English, French and/or German is essential; any additional language is an advantage.
