HOT STOVES WASTE GAS HEAT RECOVERY

Energy efficiency is one of the key ways to ensure sustainability of the industrial world, in particular of the iron and steel industry. With this in mind, Paul Wurth concentrates on optimising the energy balance of existing metallurgical processes and can particularly provide engineering and supply of modern hot stoves waste gas heat recovery systems.

By recovering heat from the flue gas generated in heating the hot stoves and using this heat for preheating the fuel and stove combustion air, the overall thermal efficiency of the hot stoves can be improved resulting in substantial energy savings and optimized operating costs.

The heat recovery systems supplied by Paul Wurth are based on heat pipe technology and use thermal oil as medium.
